Cardiovascular

Bothwell Regional Health Center offers a wide range of cardiovascular treatment services and diagnostic testing. Cardiovascular refers to the heart (cardio) and the blood vessels (vascular). The cardiovascular system includes arteries, veins, arterioles and capillaries.

Services include electrocardiograms (or EKGs), a simple, painless test that records the heart's electrical activity, stress tests and 24-hour Holter monitoring, a continuous recording of a patient’s heart rhythms for 24 hours of normal activity.

Bothwell also provides echocardiograms to determine the heart’s size, to evaluate how well it is functioning or pumping and to assess the structure and function of the valves within the heart.
