Because
cancer and
cardiovascular
disease are
the most
common
health-care
issues in
our
communities,
Bothwell
Regional
Health
Center’s
Board of
Trustees has
approved a
plan to
build a
15,000-square-foot
addition to
the east
side of the
health
center. The
two-story
addition
will house
enhanced
diagnostic
and
treatment
services for
cancer and
cardiovascular
disease.
The Bothwell
Regional
Health
Center
Foundation
is
supporting
that effort
by raising
roughly 25
percent of
the
project’s
cost through
community
support.
With a goal
of $3.5
million, the
Foundation
has embarked
on an
aggressive
campaign
that seeks
support from
employees,
physicians,
community
leaders,
patients and
their
families,
the entire
community
and anyone
whose life
has been
touched by
cancer or
heart
disease.
