"Nothing makes you realize the devastation of heart disease more than when it strikes someone you love. My daughter, Camye Gaspard, was 41 when she died of a sudden heart attack. By creating a heart fund in her memory, we hope to help spare other families a similar grief by making early detection and treatment of heart disease available right here at home".

"A skinny guy in his 30s can’t have a heart attack, can he? Well, I did. It was a spring morning when I was rushed to Bothwell Regional Health Center with a massive heart attack. Fortunately, Dr. Marquez and his team were there, and I got the help I needed. The next week, Bothwell’s Cardiac Rehab Department put me on a treadmill. The next year, I ran my first 5K. Eight years later, I’m still running!
Lub Dub Run is the perfect way for me to raise heart health awareness. By participating, you’re improving your own fitness and helping fund cardiovascular services right here in our community".
