Bothwell Foundation celebrates community impact with $20 for 20 Years campaign

This year, the Bothwell Foundation is marking two decades of enhancing local health care services, supporting patients and ensuring access to care close to home. To celebrate this milestone and continue building on its mission, the foundation invites community members to join its $20 for 20 Years campaign.

A simple $20 donation will help fund essential patient services, health care innovation and expanded access to programs and technology at Bothwell Regional Health Center. Lauren Thiel-Payne, foundation executive director, said every gift makes a difference in advancing wellness in Sedalia and the surrounding region.

“For the past 20 years, the foundation has collaborated with the community to invest more than $5 million in Bothwell,” she said. “From adding 3-D mammography technology and life-saving devices like AEDs in local public spaces to creating patient assistance funds and renovating patient rooms, these projects have a direct impact on patient care and their experiences.”

Donations can be made online at brhc.org/donate or checks can be mailed to the Bothwell Foundation at 601 E. 14th St., Sedalia, Missouri 65301.

“Donations will be used for Bothwell’s greatest needs to ensure it remains a place where people can receive the care they need, right here at home,” said Thiel-Payne. “As we look ahead, the foundation’s commitment remains the same – to keep care local, state-of-the art and accessible for every patient.”
