The Bothwell Foundation holds a variety of events to raise awareness and raise funds to support various health-related projects. Some of these events include the following:
Wear Red for Women Luncheon
The Wear Red for Women Luncheon is committed to raising funds to place automated external defibrillators (AEDs) everywhere people work, learn, play or pray in Sedalia. To learn more, visit the Wear Red for Women page.
Lub Dub Run
The Bothwell Foundation holds its annual Lub Dub Run on the last Saturday in April each year. Funds raised through the event are designated to the Camye Callis Gaspard Memorial Heart Fund. This fund provides resources for improving cardiovascular treatment in Pettis and Benton counties. To learn more, visit the Lub Dub page.
With October as the official Breast Cancer Awareness month, activities and events to raise awareness in the fight against breast cancer will be held during the month. Pinktober is a month-long, community-wide awareness campaign. To learn more, visit the Pinktober page.
The Bothwell Benefit is held every other year. This is the Foundation's premier event and attracts generous donors as well as key business sponsors. The funds raised by this elegant dinner are designated to a variety of projects that benefit Bothwell Regional Health Center and its patients. To learn more, visit the Bothwell Benefit page.
Celebrity Bartender Competition
A fun evening of friendly competition - come watch as local "celebrities" mix their signature drinks and compete to see who can earn the most tips. The bartender with the most tips wins bragging rights and all the money raised at this year's inaugural event will be designated to breast cancer awareness. In future years the event may be used to support other Foundation funds. To learn more, visit the Celebrity Bartender page.
