AARP offers various resources and programs to help seniors find employment. Learn new skills and earn a modest income, all while giving back to your community with AARP’s Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP). To apply for a training assignment, you must be age 55 or older, unemployed and living on a low income. The BACK TO WORK 50+ initiative connects older jobseekers with the information, training, support and employer access they need to get back into the workforce. The program provides in-person and online sessions led by trained career coaches who understand the unique challenges facing jobseekers over 50 at no cost to them. Use the AARP Job Board to find employers committed to hiring individuals ages 50 and over.
