Bothwell physician named to Missouri Academy of Family Physicians board
Misty Todd, MD, a family medicine physician at Bothwell Regional Health Center, has been appointed to the Missouri Academy of Family Physicians (MAFP) Board of Directors.
Dr. Todd will serve a one-year term expiring in 2027. MAFP recently announced a streamlined board structure designed to support focused governance and timely decision-making for the organization and its members statewide.
As a member of Bothwell’s medical team since 2020, Dr. Todd cares for patients at Bothwell Cole Camp Clinic and in the hospital. She is the program director of the Bothwell-University of Missouri Rural Family Medicine Residency that is training physicians who want to care for patients in rural communities.
“The Missouri Academy of Family Physicians plays an important role in supporting family physicians and advocating for patients across our state,” Todd said. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve and to contribute to the academy’s work, specifically as it pertains to obstetrics and rural health care in the state of Missouri.”
MAFP represents family medicine physicians across Missouri through advocacy, education and support of the specialty.
