Grief support group beginning May 12 offers guidance for navigating loss
Bothwell Regional Health Center is offering an eight-week grief support group beginning May 12 to help people process loss in a welcoming and compassionate setting.
The group meets Tuesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 pm in the waiting room of the Bothwell Susan O’Brien Fischer Cancer Center and is facilitated by Chaplain Rob Ayers, a certified grief recovery specialist.
Grief can be a difficult and isolating experience. This group is designed to support individuals facing any kind of loss, whether through the death of a loved one, relationship or career changes, health issues or spiritual struggles. Through structured conversations and mutual sharing, participants will gain practical tools to navigate their journey.
“Everyone deserves the opportunity to heal in a safe and understanding environment,” Ayers said. “This group provides a place where people can share, listen and find support from others who truly understand the grieving process.”
