Show-Me High Value Network
The Show-Me High Value Network is made up of 23 local and independent hospitals committed to collaborating on clinical and business initiatives that strengthen health care delivery in rural Missouri. Its foundation is a clinically integrated network (CIN) caring for more than 1.8 million patients. The CIN will drive the network's quality enhancement and care coordination efforts while reducing administrative burden for providers.
Why We Joined
Delivering high-quality, high-value care means balancing the cost of care with patients' experience while bringing the best knowledge and practices to our organization. As insurers move to payments centered on value-based care, health care organizations need the systems and teams to meet new models of reimbursement. Some hospitals meet that need by affiliating with a large health system for the advantages of scale — larger patient populations, physician networks, purchasing, financial resources and recruitment.
Independent rural hospitals have another option, and for organizations like ours, "local" is part of the value we offer. The Show-Me High Value Network helps us gain those same benefits of scale while remaining independent, so we can keep tailoring decisions to the needs of our patients, providers and communities. As a member, we're working to remain independent by strengthening our interdependence: the more we work together with our partner hospitals, the better we can serve you.
