Bothwell Regional Health Center seeks input for Community Health Needs Assessment

Over the next few months, Bothwell Regional Health Center is conducting its triennial Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) and requesting feedback from the community through a survey that is available until Feb. 9, 2022.

The online survey is available at on the Community Health Needs Assessment page. Printed copies are at all Bothwell clinics and at community health partner locations including Pettis County Health Center, Katy Trail Community Health and Benton County Health Department. Russian and Spanish surveys are available upon request. The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete, and all responses are confidential. Respondents who include their email address will be entered into a drawing for a $100 Visa gift card.

As a nonprofit hospital organization, Bothwell is required by IRS tax code to conduct a CHNA every three years. The goal of the assessment is to understand progress in addressing community health needs outlined in the previous CHNA and collect current community health perceptions. Feedback allows Bothwell to understand what community members see as the most important health issues affecting their communities and provides the foundation for prioritizing health needs and developing strategies to address future needs.

The full CHNA process involves collection and analysis of primary data including survey results, focus group feedback and hospital data, as well as secondary data derived from multiple sources on community health indicators in Pettis and Benton counties.
