Grief support group beginning March 18 offers guidance for navigating loss

Bothwell Regional Health Center is offering a grief support group led by Chaplain Rob Ayers, a certified grief recovery specialist, to help individuals navigate loss and find comfort in a supportive community.

The next eight-week session begins March 18 and meets from 6:30 to 9 pm each Tuesday at Bothwell Hospital.

Grief is a personal journey that can be overwhelming and difficult to manage alone. This group is open to anyone experiencing loss, including the death of a loved one, changes in career or relationships, struggles with faith or health concerns. Through guided discussions and shared experiences, participants can gain tools to cope and move forward.

“Everyone deserves the opportunity to heal in a safe and understanding environment,” Ayers said. “This group provides a place where people can share, listen and find support from others who truly understand the grieving process.”

For more information or to join the group, contact Chaplain Rob Ayers at cayers@brhc.org or 660.287.1090. Additional sessions will be held May 20 – July 8, July 22 – Sept. 9, and Sept. 23 – Nov. 11.
