The State of Missouri announced on Monday that Bothwell Regional Health Center has been selected as a high throughput vaccinator as part of Missouri’s new vaccine distribution plan.
Bothwell is scheduled to receive additional vaccine doses throughout February to accommodate administering the COVID-19 vaccine to our community and surrounding areas. Appointments scheduled through this effort will receive the Moderna vaccine. The Moderna vaccine was approved for those age 18 and older.
“We are proud to be a part of history and help vaccinate our community as one of the Missouri organizations capable of rapidly administering the COVID-19 vaccine,” said Lori Wightman, CEO at Bothwell.
Individuals who are interested in receiving the vaccine are encouraged to fill out the online registration form on the Bothwell website at www.brhc.org/vaccine. Paper forms are also available at any Bothwell location or can be printed from the website, including a Spanish version, and returned to any Bothwell location, emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org, or mailed to Bothwell Regional Health Center ATTN: Vaccine Registration 601 E 14th Street, Sedalia, MO 65301.
All vaccines will be given by appointment only. Vaccine appointments will be scheduled as vaccines are available and clinic dates are released. Bothwell staff is currently scheduling appointments for those individuals who meet the Phase 1A and 1B Tier 1 and 2 qualifications based on the preregistration form. The vaccine clinic will take place on the Missouri State Fairgrounds at the MO-AG Theatre. All scheduled appointments should arrive no more than 15 minutes prior and enter through the Main Gate on 16th Street. Appointments for the second dose will be scheduled at the time the first appointment is scheduled.
If an individual falls in another tier, they may fill out the form and will be contacted once we have received the authorization from the state to move to the next vaccine phase.
