Foundation Events & Committees
The Bothwell Foundation holds a variety of events to raise awareness and raise funds to support various health-related projects. Some of these events include the following:

Wear Red for Women Luncheon
The Wear Red for Women Luncheon is committed to raising funds to place automated external defibrillators (AEDs) everywhere people work, learn, play or pray in Sedalia. To learn more, visit the Wear Red for Women page.
Lub Dub Run
The Bothwell Foundation holds its annual Lub Dub Run on the last Saturday in April each year. Funds raised through the event are designated to the Camye Callis Gaspard Memorial Heart Fund. Pinktober
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the foundation annually hosts various activities and events to raise awareness in the fight against it and all types of cancer, as well as funds for the Gene Loveall Cancer Services Fund. To learn more about what's happening this year, visit the Pinktober page.
Bothwell Foundation Gala
The Bothwell Foundation Gala returns in 2025 for its first in-person event since 2018. Cancer Perks
Cancer Perks began in 2015 with one simple mission: to bring comfort and hope to people facing cancer. Now a Bothwell Foundation committee, Cancer Perks provides Perk Bags filled with thoughtful items and helps meet urgent patient needs in collaboration with the Susan O’Brien Fischer Cancer Center team.
