reStart

reStart is a homeless shelter in downtown Kansas City, Missouri, serving children, families, singles and veterans. reStart is the only provider that serves all unhoused populations while providing emergency, temporary and permanent housing programs. With over 40 years of service in the Kansas City area, reStart has become a community leader advocating for and modeling best practices for permanently ending homelessness. Through emergency shelter, individualized case management and wrap-around services, it supports and guides residents from homelessness to safe and stable housing.
