Family medicine physician joins Bothwell Family Medicine Associates

Abrea Cridlebaugh, MD

Abrea Cridlebaugh, MD, a family medicine physician, has joined Bothwell Family Medicine Associates and is now seeing patients of all ages.

Cridlebaugh earned her medical degree and completed her family and community medicine residency at the University of Missouri in Columbia. She was part of the Rural Track Pipeline Program and received multiple awards for academic performance, leadership and excellence in geriatric care.

She offers full-spectrum primary care, including prenatal and pediatric services, women’s health, mental health, geriatrics and chronic disease management.

Cridlebaugh said choosing Bothwell was about more than location; it was about shared values.

“Bothwell is grounded in community,” she said. “People here are committed to improving lives in practical, meaningful ways, and I knew I wanted to be part of that.”

She said her approach to care is guided by listening, trust and tailoring treatment to each person.

“No two patients are the same,” she said. “I focus on understanding what matters to each individual so we can make care decisions together.”

Marvin Smoot, Bothwell’s Clinic Operations vice president, said Cridlebaugh’s clinical training and rural background make her a strong fit for Bothwell’s mission.

“Dr. Cridlebaugh brings a strong foundation in rural medicine and a deep understanding of what patients in our region need,” Smoot said. “She listens well, builds trust and offers care that’s both personal and informed.”

Cridlebaugh grew up near Marshall and is glad to be back in west-central Missouri. She and her husband, Brody, have a young daughter and enjoy spending time outdoors with family.

She is seeing patients at Bothwell Family Medicine Associates located on the first floor of the Healing Arts Center. For appointments, call the clinic at 660.827.2883 or Centralized Scheduling at 660.829.8888.
