Hospital Week event open to the public

National Hospital Week is May 11-17, and Bothwell Regional Health Center will host a public event from 4-8 pm Friday, May 16 at Bothwell Hospital. 

Hospital Week: Under the Big Top is a circus-themed event that is open to the community. Free activities include a petting zoo, a cake walk, face painting, a balloon artist, games with prizes and a disc jockey playing music. Several area food trucks will be available offering food and refreshments for purchase. 

National Hospital Week annually recognizes the care and support provided by over 6,000 hospitals across the country. Anchored by a 24/7 hospital and Emergency department in Sedalia, Bothwell Regional Health Center includes a network of primary and specialty care practices at 25 outpatient locations in Sedalia, Cole Camp, Lincoln and Warsaw.  

Providing a full range of diagnostic, medical and surgical services, Bothwell has more than 284,000 annual patient visits and employs nearly 900 people including 100 physicians and advanced practice providers. It is Sedalia’s largest employer and Pettis County’s second largest employer. 

The event will be held in the parking lot and grassy area east of the Education Center at 600 E. 14th Street. No reservations are required.
