John H. Bothwell Hospital Trust makes donation to Bothwell

On Dec. 12, representatives for the John H. Bothwell Hospital Trust presented a check for $35,250.56 to Bothwell Regional Health Center.

John H. Bothwell lived from 1848 to 1929 and established the charitable trust in 1926 that helped build the John H. Bothwell Memorial Hospital. Today, the trust retains three trustees and through investment practices it earns revenue that continues to support health care in Sedalia. Each year, trustees pay out the annual interest income to Bothwell Regional Health Center.
