Nurse practitioner joins Bothwell walk-in clinics medical team
Savannah Jeffries, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, has joined Bothwell Regional Health Center’s walk-in clinics team and will care for patients of all ages for their urgent health care needs.
As a nurse practitioner, Jeffries can see patients, evaluate and treat illnesses and injuries, order and interpret labs and tests, prescribe and monitor medications and provide preventive care.
Jeffries said her patient care philosophy is grounded in respect, education and collaboration. She strives to create an environment where patients feel valued and supported and encourages them to take an active role in their care through clear communication and shared understanding.
“My connection to Bothwell began in high school through the Medical Explorers program, where I was supported by mentors who believed in me early on,” Jeffries said. “Returning to Bothwell feels like coming full circle, not only because it’s my hometown, but because of the people who shaped my early path.”
Jeffries grew up in Sedalia and graduated from Sacred Heart School in 2016. She completed nursing degrees at State Fair Community College and Central Methodist University, then earned a doctoral degree in family nurse practitioner with a minor in nursing education in Columbia. Her nursing experience includes emergency, trauma and cardiac intensive care.
“Savannah brings strong clinical experience and a commitment to patient education that will benefit our community,” said Marvin Smoot, Clinic Operations vice president. “Her approach aligns well with our walk-in clinics and our focus on helping patients feel supported, informed and cared for.”
Bothwell has two walk-in clinics in Sedalia, Walk In Winchester in the Bothwell Healing Arts Center at 3700 W. 10th St. and Walk In Off Broadway at 700 S. Hancock. No appointment is needed to be seen for walk-in care. For hours and more information, visit brhc.org/walkin.
