Bothwell Foundation to host ‘What Your Mama Never Told You’ event Oct. 16

Registration due by Oct. 10

The Bothwell Foundation’s Community Relations committee will host its fourth “What Your Mama Never Told You” event just for women at 7 pm Oct. 16 at The Venue in Sedalia.

The free evening is another opportunity for women to hear information and ask questions about health topics important to them. Past events have been held in Sedalia and Cole Camp.

Panelists include Dr. Stephanie Schirding, family medicine physician at Bothwell Cole Camp Clinic, Nurse Midwife Cassie Caedo at Bothwell OB/GYN Associates, Kali Luchessi, owner of Healthy Habits and Angie Howard, owner of Chill Cryotherapy & Wellness. These women will offer professional insights and take questions about women’s health issues throughout every stage of life.

Diana Nichols, chair of the Community Relations committee, said the group is looking forward to hosting the event a third time in Sedalia.

“With new presenters and new areas of focus, we are excited to provide another opportunity for women to gain information and ask questions about their health and well-being,” she said. “It’s important that we continue having conversations and connections with each other and bring our common concerns to light.”

Seating is limited, and women interested in attending should register by Oct. 10 at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2025WYMNTY. The survey link includes an option to submit questions or topics confidentially, so the presenters can prepare.

For more information, contact Lauren Thiel-Payne, Bothwell Foundation executive director, at lthiel@brhc.org or 660.829.7786. The Venue is located at 219 S. Ohio Ave. in Sedalia. A popcorn bar and drinks will be provided.
