Bothwell Regional Health Center provides you with comprehensive orthopedic care. From diagnosis to treatment, our team of orthopedic surgeons works together to help you get you moving again.
Our orthopedic specialists concentrate on treating conditions involving the hips, knees, arms and elbows, feet and ankles, hands and wrists, shoulders and lower back. We also specialize in concussion assessment, joint replacement, trauma and sports medicine including arthroscopy.
With recent advances and breakthroughs in orthopedic surgery, many patients experience faster surgeries, have less exposure to anesthesia and recover more quickly. We offer a dedicated unit that provides specialized nursing care for patients recovering from orthopedic procedures.
Fall 2022 Sports Injury Clinics
Beginning Saturday, Aug. 27, area student-athletes who suffer a serious but non-emergency injury during Friday night play can be seen at our free Saturday morning injury clinic. Dr. Evan Stout, orthopedic surgeon at Bothwell Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, is the clinic’s attending physician who examines athletes and provides care recommendations. One of four athletic trainers from Smith-Cotton, Warsaw, Cole Camp, and State Fair Community College rotate Saturdays and assist him.
The clinic is open from 8 to 9 a.m. on Saturdays beginning Aug. 27 through Oct. 29 and is located at Bothwell Peak Sport & Spine at 3222 W. 16th Street in Sedalia.
No appointment is needed and students are seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. If further care is required, the clinic will work with families to get the student to an appropriate health care professional.
